Garment Embroidery
Durability
Embroidery is the most robust medium for stitching Logos
Sustained Colour Quality
Because the thread is precoloured, the colour will also ensure compled colour fastness throughout the life of the garment.
Perception Of Quality
There is still undoubtably a perception that embroidered garments are “better quality”. This perception is however changing with the advent of new technology.
Better On Thicker Garments
Garments with a pile to them, ie Fleeces and woollen garments always look better embroidered. We can advise on that for you.
Costly
With the advent of DTF and the rise in thread costs since lockdown, embroidery is now a more expensive option.
Logo Clarity
Due to a more limited range of colours available as thread, and the process of stitching, can make logos appear not as clear as other Logo applications.
Puckering
Whilst embroidery is durable, continued garment washing can lead to puckering around the edges which frankly can look terrible.
Small Detail and Large Sizing
Again the medium of embroidery dosent show any fine detail, neithjer is it
Itchy Backing
Also there is a thick layer of felt on the inside of the garment which people can find uncomfortable to wear.
